DEFENCE SCAN: IDEX-DIO SIGNS 100TH CONTRACT FOR DEFENCE INNOVATION

IDEX framework was launched by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in 2018 with the objective that it would provide the platform of co-creation and co-development in the defence sector, and would engage start-ups to contribute to the defence sector and develop defence and aerospace setup in the country. Within a short span of time IDEX has emerged as a game changer in the defence eco-system and has signed its 100th contract this week.

MARITIME PARTNERSHIP EXERCISE BETWEEN INDIAN NAVY AND JAPAN MARITIME SELF DEFENSE FORCE

A Maritime Partnership Exercise was conducted between Japan Maritime Self Defence Force and Indian Navy on July 23, 2022 in Andaman Sea. The exercise was aimed at enhancing interoperability and streamlining seamanship and communication procedures.

RFI FOR CELLULAR COMMUNICATION SYSTEM FOR INDIAN ARMY

MoD has issued a RFI for procuring 4G (Long Term Evolution-Advance), 4G (LTE-A), Fifth Generation (5g) in Stand Alone/Non Stand Alone architecture based mobile cellular communication network on turnkey basis.
