A video from Kavalande of Nanjagud taluk in the Mysore district of Karnataka is going viral on the internet. In this video, Kawlande is purportedly being described as ‘Chhota Pakistan’. Taking cognizance of this video, Karnataka Chief Minister Basava Raj Bommai expressed displeasure. At the same time, he has directed the Mysore SP to take immediate action in this matter after conducting an inquiry.

The viral video is said to be of 4th May. In the video, a group of people returning after offering Eid-ul-Fitr Namaz can be seen shouting ‘Nara-e-Takbir, Allah hu Akbar’.

During this, the person making the video says, ‘Look at the majma now, of our village.’ After this one of his companions says, ‘Yeh mini Pakistan hai, Chhota Pakistan’. After this, the person shooting the viral video says, ‘Kovlande bole to chhota Pakistan.’ After this whole incident, now questions are being raised that, those who were given Pakistan, did not go to Pakistan, and today they are claiming to make a small Pakistan in India, do they want to partition the country again?

In response to a question about the entire ‘Mini Pakistan’ incident, Karnataka Chief Minister Bommai told reporters that he has ordered an inquiry and has asked the Mysore SP to watch the entire video and take action.

Sharing the video, columnist and orator Chakravarty Sulibele, who is associated with YuvaBrigade and NamoBrigade, in a tweet on Wednesday, said, “Muslims took a procession yesterday in a village Kaulande (Kavalande) of Mysuru. Just listen the ‘bhaijan’ who shot the video says this is mini Pakistan!! Volcano erupting?”
