Yogi Adityanath has written history by leading the BJP to a big victory in Uttar Pradesh and becoming the state's chief minister for the second time in a row.

Yogi Adityanath is only the sixth chief minister in UP to be re-elected for a second term. Sampurnanda was the first, in 1975, followed by Channdrabahnu Gupta in 1962 and Hemwati Nandan Bahaguna (father of Lok Sabha MP Rita Bahuguna Joshi) in 1974. Yogi Adityanath is not only the first man to win a second straight election in 37 years, but he is also the first chief minister in the state's 70-year electoral history to finish his tenure and win for the second time in a row.

Here in this article, we will discuss a new 'M-Y' Equation that crushed all the other parties in the Uttar Pradesh Election 2022.

M-Y equation is critical in Uttar Pradesh politics. Political pundits often use this term to show how, on the excel sheet Samajwadi Party is doing great in the election. M stands for Muslim in the M-Y equation, and  Y means Yadav. It is believed that these two together make the Samajwadi Party a giant force in the Uttar Pradesh Election. B.J.P. knew that a shift in Hindus could create trouble for the party in Uttar Pradesh Election 2022. Therefore, B.J.P. has put a new version of 'M-Y' in the market to cut the Samajwadi party's 'M-Y' factor. In the B.J.P.'s version of 'M-Y', M means ‘Mahila'(Women), and  Y is 'Yojna's' concerned with government schemes.

From Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to all the B.J.P. leaders mentioned this new version of the 'M-Y' equation in their speeches. Referring to Hooligans and rioters, who kept Uttar Pradesh in chaos during the Samajwadi Party rule. PM Modi and CM Yogi pitched how girls could not leave their houses five years ago. Now they can roam freely, even in the evening. These things were the essence of the first word of MY demarcation. All the B.J.P. leaders focused on women's votes through this.

Under the 'Y- Yojna', all the B.J.P. leaders throughout the campaign left no stone unturned about mentioning how every poor has received the benefits of 'Government Yojnas'. With the beneficiary Yojnas of PM Narendra Modi, which reached the public at a very grassroots level. Whether Rs 6000 to farmers or toilets, direct money transfer scheme or Har Ghar Nal or Awas Yojna. The people of Uttar Pradesh also acknowledge that the law and order situation had improved a lot under the Yogi Adityanath regime, I remember talking to a Girl student in Khurja near Bulandshar, she said that "Pehle Hum Sooch Bhi Nahi Sakte The Ghar Se Door Jaake Padhne Ke Baare Mei, Lekin 2 Saal Pehle Maine N.R.E.C. College Mei Admission Liya, Aur PG Mei Reh Kar Yahan Padhti Hoon" (Earlier we could not even think about studying away from home, but two years ago I took admission in N.R.E.C. college, and now I study here staying in PG.).

However, the opposition parties were well aware of the government's move to empower the state's women. This was why Priyanka Gandhi tried to reach half of the population through 'Ladki Hoon Lad Sakti Hoon'. Akhilesh and R.L.D.'s Jayant Chaudhary also tried to reach out to the voters by talking about the reservation for women. But results tell that none of their cards has convinced the voters. Whereas the people well received the good governance and development workes of CM Yogi.
