Intellectuals across various domains were invited to churn the idea of New India through brainstorming.

UP Young Thinkers Forum and LokNeeti India had jointly organised their first 'Development Dialogue' to pave the road map for holistic development for New India. The program was organised on Sunday (December 26) in Lucknow. The very idea of the Indian state as per Chanakya is based on the Yogakshema–security and welfare of the people. In Ram Rajya, the state is democratic and righteously ruled. It should strive for its people's well-being and their security from internal-external threats. Intellectuals across various domains were invited to churn the idea of New India through brainstorming.

"The program is designed in such a way that deliverables from its output will give the picture of the development agenda. We are in the month of elections where various political establishments are talking about their agenda. As the first-time voters need to understand what will be their future, this program will give a better idea. The program will be addressed by ignited minds from various walks of life who had played a pivotal role in shaping policies," said Satyendra, Founder, LokNeeti India & Convenor, UP Young Thinkers Forum.

Developing strategies for UP-build on government work, governance reform, and government engagement to give a new roadmap for entrepreneurship development in the region were discussed by Saket Mishra, Advisor, Purvanchal Vikas Board. He also stressed that reforms need to be focused on human resource development. Gaurie Dwivedi, Sr. Journalist and Author emphasised the role of the private sector for job creation and said the agricultural growth, sustainability & equal opportunity are required for the integrated development of rural society. She also stressed the need to draw useful lessons from Far East development models to meet an ambitious trillion-dollar economy. Neetu Singh, a renowned Social Activist of Yati Sankalp Samiti, emphasised the role of educational institutions and focused on marginalised sections of society. She stressed on how community participation can be a change maker in rebuilding society. Vinod K Yadav from Abhyudaya Foundation discussed rethinking rural India's development, which needs a new urban concept of a village centric growth model.

Prof Yogesh, Vice-Chancellor at Rambhadracharya Divyang University Chitrakoot, stressed on how a value-based education system can contribute to a sustainable development growth story. Author and Columnist, Shantanu Gupta, who recently wrote a book on the transformation of UP, discussed the new ideas for development adopted by the UP state Govt.

In concluding remark, Satyendra, Founder LokNeeti India, said, "UP is in the centre of the resurgence of religious democracy. Having great potential for soft power to human resources, UP can be at the centre stage of India's growth story. It has the potential to build and attract tourism through Buddhist Circuit, Ramayana Circuit and other socio-religio centres of attractions. Its deep-rooted cultural ties with ASEAN and Indian Ocean countries will also boost grow together policy." The whole program was well attended by over 70 intellectuals from various walks of life.
