Hindu assertion is no longer a thing of the past. It is a thing of conviction and a neo-confidence. This is what the 'Nav yug' is emphasised by Amit Shah. A 'New India' without fear and with Faith.

New Delhi: Bhay vegar, vane… Shradha saathey. With Faith and Without fear, that's the journey of Hindus in their new mission for a 'New India'! That's the big difference Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made since the historic mandate in 2014. Modi's longtime close friend and trusted lieutenant Amit Shah said so at ground zero in Gujarat on Sunday (December 12).

"For many years, Hindu community's faith centres, the temples, were … Ane koi ane uddhar karvani sharuat nathi kari (and no one tried to salvage Hindus from such humiliation). In 2014, citizens voted for Narendra Modiji giving him full majority, a first in 30 years. I had seen before, people going to temples felt a sense of shame. But Narendrabhai after receiving invitation from the President (as PM-designated) adorned holy ashes and performed Ganga aarti at the Kashi Vishwanath temple, starting a 'nava yug' (new age) in this great country," Shah said amid thunderous applause from a capacity crowd in Ahmedabad.

He was participating in the foundation stone laying ceremony for a temple for Umiya Mata, the deity of the Kadva Patidars, in Ahmedabad.

The Home Minister said, "Under Modiji's leadership, work on our forgotten faith centres is being undertaken Bhay vegar, vane…Shradha saathey." Such an onward journey has given Hindus renewed pride. He also hailed the "laying of foundation stone at the hands of a holy Arya samaj member (Governor Acharya Devvrat)".

Meanwhile, all eyes are on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who will inaugurate the reconstruction works of Kashi Vishwanath Dham on Monday, December 13. There will be a festival in Kashi every day from December 13 to January 14 (2022), and this programme will be telecast/shown live at 51 thousand places in the country. The BJP leaders say Prime Minister Modi has drawn out a visionary plan to re-establish India's ancient culture on the global arena, realising the dream and ambition of crores of Indians through 'Divya Kashi – Bhavya Kashi'.
