Four people were arrested in connection with the murder of CPM local secretary Pradeep Kumar in Kerala. Faisi, Jishnu, Nandu and Pramod were arrested and two among them are CPM supporters. On Thursday evening, Pradeep Kumar was murdered by a five-member group. The police arrested all four culprits today morning itself from Alappuzha district and they have ruled out any political reasons behind the murder. The murder is related to personal enmity between Pradeep Kumar and Jishnu.
Trying to reap political benefit from the murder, CPM was quick to blame BJP for the murder and had called for a Harthal in Thuruvalla. The recent statement from the Police citing that this is not a political murder has put CPM on the backfoot.
