Hon’ble Kerala Governor Sri Arif Mohammed Khan told that Veer Savarkar was a powerful freedom struggle. Sri Khan was delivering
a speech after releasing “Veer Savarkar–The Man Who Could Have Prevented Partition”, the book authored by Sri Uday Mahurkar, the Central RTI Commissioner, at Kochi on November 28, 2021. Veer Savarkar fought for all sections of people, cutting across caste and religious lines.
He conceived and propagated that both Muslims and Hindus should join hands in their social and political activities. Savarkar did not scheme for power and pelf. He underwent inhuman and brutal torture for fighting the Britons for the country’s freedom. Governor opined that Mahurkar’s book is a befitting answer to those who keep on spreading lies and scandals against Veer Savarkar.
