The police have booked a pastor for trying to sexually abuse minor girls in his village in Kurnool. He is booked under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act

The village elders tried to settle the issue without reporting the incident to the local police after the allegations surfaced last month against the pastor.

The police intervened and booked a case against him after the videos of minor girls levelling sexual abuse charges against the pastor went viral on social media.

According to a senior police officer, the accused has been taken into custody, and further investigation is on.
