Guwahati: The Sanatan Culture and civilization will be reinstalled in all the places of Assam from where it was rooted out in the last few decades. Assam chief minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma said in Bhabanipur while campaigning for the October 30 by-election. Without naming the migrant Muslims Dr. Sarma said, due to many divisions in the Assamese society we are losing our land, culture, identity especially in the lower Assam. But the BJP led government  is committed to reinstall the base of a greater Assamese society.

CM Dr. Sarma pointed out that in the last 5 months his government is relentlessly working to secure the future of the Assamese people. Gorukhuti eviction is such an attempt to secure the land belonging to the indegenious people of Assam. He said, "With the blessings of the people of Assam, my government in next 5 years will ensure that the Sanatan culture, the name of Lord Ram, Krishna and Shiva and Harinaam of Guru Shankardev are reinstated in all the places of Assam where it was uprooted by the communal forces."

Meanwhile the ruling alliances in Assam, the BJP, AGP and UPPL have sped up their campaigns for the five constituencies by polls. Alliance partner AGP to leadership are continuously campaigning in all five constituencies to support the BJP and UPPL candidates. AGP president and agriculture minister Atul Bora and working president and health minister Keshab Mahanta campaigned in two upper Assam constituencies Towra and Morioni. The regional party has a sizable voter base in both the constituencies.

The AGP has offered the Bhabanipur constituency to BJP in the by-election where their candidate lost in the last election by a difference of 3000 votes. The party leadership has campaigned in the constituency in support of the BJP candidates. Senior AGP leader and health minister Keshab Mahanta said that the ruling alliance in Assam doesn't only promise, we deliver development, so it is obvious that the people of all these 5 constituencies will elect the alliance candidates.
