RSS Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat has pointed out that in 2025 the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh will complete 100 years of its formation and there is a need to accelerate activities of the RSS to mark its centenary celebrations. He said that the target of the Swayamsevaks should be to reach every household when it will celebrate its centenary four years later.

On the concluding day of his four-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir, RSS Sarsanghchalak, Dr Mohan Bhagwatji addressed Swayamsevaks through the online mode from Keshav Bhawan, Ambphalla in Jammu and Kashmir.

The Sarsanghchalak exhorted the need to work hard in order to ensure that when the organisation will turn 100 in 2025, the Swayamsevaks should reach every household with extension of shakhas in all villages.

He advised the Swayamsevaks how their conduct should be and how their lives should be devoted to the cause of nation-building. Swayamsevaks from 989 places joined the virtual meetings from across the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir  to listen to the address of  the Sarsanghchalak.

In his address, Dr Mohan Bhagwat guided the Swayamsevaks on different topics ranging from the formation of the RSS to the expansion of its network across the globe. Sarsanghchalak emphasised personality building, organisation set up, nation-building, and challenges before the nation.

“We are doing the same work for the last 96 years. We have to do it with more zeal and enthusiasm without diverting out attention”.
Emphasising the need of strengthening the organisation, he said that real unity is the real strength. “Our strength will be realised only through our unity. We have to remain united”, he said. He narrated examples of the founder of RSS Dr Hedgewar during the early days of Sangh in Nagpur.

The Sarsanghchalak said that we have to keep in mind that we have to organise the whole Hindu society that can make India a Vishwa Guru. India should be at the forefront in every field of the world and we should also be in a position to lead the whole world, we have to create such a country and it should be our ultimate target. “The work has just started, not finished. So, the need to work with patience is more important”, he said.

The Sarsanghchalak emphasised the need to attend Shakhas regularly as it is important to remain physically, intellectually, and organisationally strong.

“Every Swayamsevek has to perform his duty with dedication and commitment”, he said and stressed the need for character building and personality building.

He narrated examples from “Ramayana” to stress the point that it was important for character building. “A Swayamsevak should be an example for the whole  society”, he said.

On this occasion, Sanghchalak of Uttar Kshetra, Prof. Sita Ram Vyasji and Sah-sanghchalak of Jammu and Kashmir Province, Dr Gautam Maingiji were also present.
