The Communist Party of India in Kerala turned to Ramayana to save their sinking fortunes. The party organised a seven-day online talk series about the great epic and its virtues.
The series, titled “Ramayana and Indian Heritage”, was telecast live on the Facebook page of the Malappuram district committee and had state CPI leaders as speakers.
The seven-day talk series concluded on Saturday (July 31).
Malappuram CPI district secretary P K Krishnadas said Ramayana is part of the shared culture and tradition of the country.
The various interpretations of Ramayana were discussed.
