Terrorists Kill Police Officer Parvaiz Ahmad Dar in Kashmir, Dar Was Returning Home After Offering Evening Prayers

Jammu & Kashmir police officer worked with the CID department of the state police. He was walking home after offering the evening prayers in Nowgam, Kashmir.
In a cowardly attack in Kashmir, two terrorists killed Jammu & Kashmir police officer Parvaiz Ahmad Dar in Nowgam on June 22. Dar was returning home after offering evening prayers.
A massive manhunt has been launched to nab the killers.
Dar was walking home across the street after offering evening prayers, when he was shot at point-blank range from behind. Two terrorists fired more bullets in Dar’s body. The murder was captured in a CCTV installed nearby.
Terrorist group Lashkar’s offshoot The Resistance Force’s ‘Shaheed Anas Squad’ has claimed responsibility for the murder.
Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha condemned the killing of Dar. He wrote on microblogging platform Twitter, “I strongly condemn the brutal killing of Inspector Shri Parvaiz Ahmad Dar of J&K Police outside a mosque in Nowgam by terrorists. His supreme sacrifice won’t go in vain, terrorists will be punished for the act. My heartfelt condolences to the family of the martyr.”
Jammu and Kashmir police officer Imtiaz Hussain tweeted, “We lost a brave colleague Inspector Parvaiz in a cowardly terror attack in Srinagar while he was on his way home after offering prayers in a mosque. An ever-smiling, brilliant officer, he will be missed badly. RIP buddy.”
On June 17, another police officer, Javaid Ahmad, was shot dead by terrorists in Srinagar.
