Sanskar Bharati submits memorandum to Union Minister of Culture

New Delhi, June 16, 2021: Amid the Corona epidemic, Sanskar Bharati, the chairperson of the committee of the special campaign “Peer Parai Jaane Re”, started by the Delhi province for financial help to the artists of various art forms, is the famous singer and MP from North West Delhi, Shri Hansraj Hans. Shri Anupam Bhatnagar, Area Head of Delhi Province, submitted a memorandum to the Union Minister of Culture, Government of India, Shri Prahlad Singh Patel. It is noteworthy that ‘Sanskar Bharati’ is striving to help the artists struggling financially in this challenging time of Covid-Pandemic so that the artists get financial and mental strength.
It is noteworthy that in the patron board of the committee of “Pir Parai Jaane Re”, Kathak emperor Pandit Birju Maharaj, dancer and art scholar and Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Sonal Mansingh, eminent sarod player Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, well-known sculptor Ram V. Sutar, Pandit Sajan Mishra, senior journalist Rajat Sharma, Bharatnatyam dancer Dr. Saroja Vaidhinathan, drama writer and director and retired IAS officer D.P. Sinha’s name is included. Retired IAS officer Shakti Sinha and noted poet and thinker Dr. Kumar Vishwas have been nominated as vice-chairperson of the committee and Bhupendra Kaushik and Mahendra Gupta have been nominated as treasurers. Advocates Bansuri Swaraj and Pragya Agrawal, daughters of former External Affairs Minister Late Sushma Swaraj, have been made members.
