In a sensational development, after removing the blue verified badge from the profile of India’s Vice President Venkaiah Naidu, Twitter has now removed the blue tick mark from the personal handle of RSS Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat. Similarly, the blue tick was withdrawn from the profile of various other RSS leaders. Like Suresh Bhaiyyaji Joshi ji, Arun Kumar ji, Krishna Gopal ji and Suresh Soni ji.
The idea behind verification was the presence of Fake Twitter profiles in the name of RSS leaders for spreading fake news, six of the fake IDs were identified and police complaints were also filed regarding this.
A policy update by Twiter suggest that inactivity for 6 months leads to un-verification, then now the question arises that if that is the case, then why VP Venkaiah Naidu’s blue tick was verified after removing it.
Reacting sharply to Twitter’s act, netizens demanded immediate restoration of the blue tick and they are asking twitter whether this action is initiated following the orders from their Toolkit masters.
Many Twitter users are sharing details of profiles inactive for years and still bearing Bluetick. This double-standards of Twitter clearly reflects a deep-rooted conspiracy against RSS and its leaders.
