Samajwadi Party’s Member of Parliament Dr. ST Hasan blamed BJP government’s tinkering with Shariat for Covid-19 and cyclones.
He said the country was facing pandemic Covid-19 and cyclones like Tauktae, Amphan, Yaas etc because the Bharatiya Janata Party government had tinkered with Shariat.
Because of tinkering with the Shariat, natural calamities are hitting India.
Hasan is a doctor by profession and is a member of Lok Sabha from Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh.
A pass out from Aligarh Muslim University, he practises meidcine in Moradabad.
This is not the first time when Hasan is saying controversial things.
Earlier, he had passed poor comments about Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya.
He had said it was an attempt by the BJP to polarise the society.
Now it is well established scientifically that China is the reason for Covid-19 pandemic and cyclones are geographical phenomena.
The Union government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has provided exemplary relief work whenever cyclones have hit the country.
The casualty figures have come down drastically.
Shariat is the Islamic law prescribed by the Quran.
Hasan also added the country may face more such problems if the BJP government continued.
