The second wave of Covid-19 has created a lot of disruption and we are in a big problem but it would be overcome like last time, said Shankaracharya Vijayendra Saraswati.
He added medicine, confidence and perseverance will sail us through.
He said, “…the same crisis has struck again but this time it is much more grave. But we should be able to overcome this crisis also…medical treatment…patience and confidence also have an important place in the present scheme of things.”
He also recalled what Sankat Mochak Hanuman ji had said in Valmiki Ramayana: There is sorrow, there is crisis, yet whatever is the situation, do not give up and keep trying.
Shri Shankaracharya was speaking on the third day of “Hum Jitenge – Positivity Unlimited” lecture series organised by Covid Response Team (CRT), a civil society initiative inspired by the Sangh Parivar.
Eminent artist and classical dancer Sonal Mansingh too emphasised on the need for positive thoughts to overcome the gloom which is all around these days.
Narrating her personal story she said that it was not easy to overcome fear without positivity around oneself. Too much sorrow around oneself makes a person disappointed.
She added, “There is a need to create an atmosphere of boundless hope and positivity in the society so that no one is despaired or disappointed.”
CRT, inspired by the vision that positivity is a must to overcome challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic, has organised a series of lectures by eminent personalities.
