The Chinese government banned Goa-based news portal GoaChronicle for its extensive coverage of COVID-19 virus which originated from China’s Wuhan province.

GoaCHronicle has revealed that the People of China in regions of Beijing, Shenzhen, Inner Mongolia, Yunnan Province, and Heilongjiang Provinces will not have access to the portal. The COVID-19 virus has claimed over 3.2 million lives globally.

The Founder and Editor-in-Chief of the news portal Savio Rodrigues had last year written a scathing open letter to the Chinese President Xi Jinping that went viral globally.

Speaking on GoaChronicle being banned in China, Rodrigues expressed, “As the team leader of the GoaChronicle Team, I consider it a ‘Badge of Honour’ that the Chinese government in its fear of the truth we have been exposing about its lies and the creation of its bioweapon on our small little news portal from Goa has decided to ban the access of our news portal in their country. We will continue to expose China for the rogue nation it is and we will continue to appeal to the leaders of the world to declare China as a rogue nation and it must be boycotted globally.”
