Seva Bharti sets up chain of isolation centres in Delhi

In Delhi, when it has become difficult and almost impossible for the Corona infected patients to get beds, oxygen and basic treatment in the hospitals, once again, Seva Bharti is working to save the lives of people by operating isolation centres in collaboration with various social organisations. In Delhi, when it has become difficult and almost impossible for the Corona infected patients to get beds, oxygen and basic treatment in the hospitals, once again, Seva Bharti is working to save the lives of people by operating isolation centres in collaboration with various social organisations. At present, 6 isolation centres have been started by Seva Bharti in Delhi. These centres are being operated in Ashok Vihar, Udaseen Ashram, Narela, Dwarka, Harinagar, Amar Colony, and Lajpat district. Whereas in a day or two, 9 more centres will come to the operational level. All the preparations have been completed, and they will also be operated as soon as they get administrative permission. Arrangement of about 450 beds has been made through these isolation centres. If the administration supports and oxygen facility is made available to Sewa Bharti, then there is a plan to expand it to one thousand beds in the next few days. Medical oxygen is being provided in all 6 isolation centres. The availability of medical oxygen is being accomplished through cylinders in most centres, while oxygen concentrators are being made available to these centres.
 
Saraswati Bal Mandir, Lajpat Nagar
 
An isolation centre for Corona patients has been started in Saraswati Bal Mandir. The centre has 35 beds, which will be expanded to 50 beds. The former Additional Secretary of the Medical Council of India, Dr. P Prasanna Raj and Dr. Kalpana Nagpal (a robotics surgeon), provide their services free of cost to the patients. Seva Bharti has 21 oxygen concentrators to provide oxygen to the patients in the isolation centre. There is a provision to provide food, lemonade, decoction, medicines and all medical facilities to the patients.

Ashok Vihar – 100 bed, Covid Care Center, operated by Sewa Bharti
 
Sewa Bharti is running a 100-bed Covid Care Center at Laxmibai College, Ashok Vihar. The isolation centre is for non-serious patients. College classes have been converted into Covid wards. Facilities like oximeter, medicines, glucose, insulin are being provided to the patients. There is a plan to expand the centre into a 200 beds isolation centre. Arrangements of oxygen have also been made at Covid Care Center. OPD is conducted every day, in which about 100 patients are attended every day. Non-serious patients whose age is less than 60 years are admitted to the centre. Laxmibai College Administration, Seva Bharti, Crystal Crop Institute have played an important role in running the centre for the last ten days.
 
Shri Guru Ram Rai Nishani Ashram Isolation Center
 
In this sequence, an isolation centre has been set up by Shri Guru Ram Rai Nishan Ashram by Sangh Swayamsevaks in New Delhi. In this 33-bed isolation centre, medical counselling, medicines, oxygen facilities have been provided. Here doctors are giving their services for 24 hours. On Tuesday, May 4, 20 patients were counselled from Covid and sent home with medicines. Similarly, medical oxygen was provided to 5 patients. All the necessary items like water bottle, towels, sanitiser, steamer, soap etc., have been provided in every bed. CCTV cameras, mikes have been installed on every bed to monitor the patient. The Jhandewalan temple is arranging food for the patients. DM RK Ashram and Seva Bharti have provided medicine kits to operate Covid Care Center. Similarly, Emergency Kits has been provided by MBU Bagh.

Narela
 
Here 13-bed isolation centre is operated in Lala Deepchand Memorial Charitable Hospital, Swatantra Nagar, run by Seva Bharti. Here, basic facilities are being provided for patients, including beds, food, medicines, decoction, nebuliser etc. The doctors are serving patients free of charge at the PK Bansal Isolation Center. Seva Bharati is getting special support from Tejas Bharat Trust, Shri Ram Kuti Mandir Narela, running this centre successfully. The way nurses, sweepers, security personnel, managers, and workers serve people in times of crisis is exemplary.’
 
Doctors at all the isolation centres run by Seva Bharti are providing their services free of charge. At the same time, food, medicines and other essential items are being made available to the patients with the help of local society and institutions.
