West Bengal: Former cricketer and Moyna BJP candidate Ashok Dinda attacked allegedly by TMC goons

In yet another violent incident has been reported from West Bengal ahead of the second phase of polling in West Bengal, former cricketer and BJP candidate from Moyna (in West Bengal’s Purba Medinipur), Ashok Dinda was on Tuesday allegedly attacked by TMC goons.

Dinda was attacked around 4.30 pm while he was returning from a roadshow. According to media reports, the mob of around 50 people pelted stones on the car in which Dinda was travelling. The 37-year old has accused TMC workers of carrying out the attack.

Pictures tweeted by news agency ANI showed the rear windscreen of the SUV in which Dinda was campaigning hit by a stone. The stone along with shards of glass could also be seen scattered on the rear seat of the veh
