Former Idukki MP and LDF leader Joyce George triggered massive controversy in Kerala by calling Congress leader Rahul Gandhi ‘an unmarried troublemaker’.

At an election campaign of Minister MM Mani, LDF candidate in Udumbanchola, on Monday, George said that women should be fearful and careful of Rahul Gandhi. “Rahul will visit only women’s colleges. This is what his program is. He will go there and teach girls to bend. My dear children, please don’t bend or stand in front of him. He is a bachelor,” George said.

George had won as the CPI(M) supported independence during the 2014 Parliament election from Idukki.

The state Congress leaders have condemned the comments made by Joyce George.
