Intelligence agencies have reported that Chinese and Russian hackers were targeting Indian Serum Institutes of India, Bharat Biotech, Patanjali and All India Institute of Medical Sciences ( AIIMS).

The report further said that 15 hacking campaigns are currently working and trying hard to lay hands on detailed information of patients. They are also keeping their eyes on after research data regarding the COVID-19 vaccine. They are trying hard to get research data, clinical trial and supply chain information.

As per agencies report, apart from India hackers are active in 12 other countries such as Japan, the US, UK, Australia, Spain, Italy and Germany.

The US has already targeted China and shown its concern about the hacking threat on the Covid-19 vaccine. As per the FBI report during the initial stage of Corona vaccine research and development. Countries like North Korea, China and Russia are targeting seven major companies involved in vaccine research and trying to hack the research and development of COVID-19 vaccines.
