3. Establishes geographical areas of responsibility for subordinates to coordinate sales and distribution activities.

5. Promotional activities e.g. visits, publicity, events, Agents’ meets, membership campaigns etc. – Front End

Functional Job Description

1. To act as Profit Centre Head with over all control of the Bureau Office be it News, circulation, revenue generation and Administration.

2. primary responsibility of getting news coverage of the region; Idea generation

3. lead and inspire the Advt. Sales and Circulation Executives ;

4. Generate, share and execute story ideas on weekly basis;

5. Generate daily news feeds from the stringers;

6. Realising revenue goals in coordination with the Advertisement Sales Manager at Head Office

7. Lead & Execute circulation objectives and brand building of the magazine in the region

8. Identifying new writers and columnists with specialist domain to enrich the content

9. Finalise the stories of the region in time with relvant value edition

10. Plan some events. (conclave/seminar’s etc.) for brand promotion and revenue’s point of view.

11. Travel across the region when and wherever required to get the right story or to identify the right person;

12. Get as many exclusive content and stories as possible;

13. Developing a network of advertisement and circulation agencies with the help of executives

5) Follow up with existing agents and appointing new potential agents.

6) Personal visits to individuals, companies, Governments, agents, agencies etc.

7) To check the quality of the advertisement.

8) Daily/Weekly planning and report of activities to the Management (General Manager).

9) To achieve the targets set by the management from time to time.

10) Managing, Motivating and training the staff to develop the requisite skills in line with company goals.
