In a shocking incident reported from Delhi, 25-year-old Bajrang Dal activist Rinku Sharma was stabbed to death by a Muslim mob at his house in Mangolpuri on Wednesday night. It has come to light that Sharma was brutally murdered after an argument over donation drive for the construction of Ram Mandir.

The police have arrested Mohammad Islam, Danish, Zahid, and Mehtab under the relevant sections of the IPC said a policeman in his statement to the Times of India (TOI). Sharma’s family members told Dainik Jagran that an argument had broken out between Sharma and his assailants during the awareness rally conducted last month to collect donations for Sri Ram Mandir.

Reports suggest that the Islamists had dragged Rinku out of the house and repeatedly punched and kicked him before stabbing him with a knife. One of the assailants stabbed Sharma on the back with a huge knife and fled from the scene leaving Sharma in a pool of blood.

Sharma’s father while briefing Sudarshan TV about the incident said, “On Wednesday night, around 25-30 persons knocked on the door. After they were let in, they attacked his son Rinku Sharma, and his younger son Ankit was also attacked. He said that the attackers kicked them around, stabbed Rinku, and vandalized the house.”

Sudarshan TV footage shows Sharma being stabbed in cold blood by the assailants who have forced their way into his home.

In a press release, Vishwa Hindu Parishad condemned the brutal killing of Rinku Sharma. VHP also raised concerns over the continuous attacks on Hindus by Islamic Jihadis following the Supreme Court’s verdict in favour of Hindus to construct Ram Mandir at Ayodhya.
