The Muslim brothers got the information that Govind Devgiriji Maharaj, the treasurer of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra and Acharya Kishorji Vyas would be coming to their birthplace in Belapur. Chief Trustees of Jama Masjid Jafarbhai Attar, Bahoddin Syed Haiderbhai, Akbarbhai Tin Makerwale, Haji Ismail Rafiq Bhai Sheikh, Shafiq Bagwan, Munir Bagwan, Mohsin Syed, Gansuddin Sheikh, Aziz Sheikh called a meeting of the Muslim brothers. The issue of donating to Ram Mandir was taken up in the meeting. All the Muslim brothers immediately donated money for the Ram temple.

Before the arrival of Acharya Kishorji Vyas in the village, the Muslim community had collected Rs. 33,111. As soon as Acharya Kishorji Vyas arrived at the Jama Masjid in Belapur village, he was welcomed by Chief Trustees Jafrabhai Attar and Bahoddin Syed Haji Ismail Akbar Tin Makerwale. Another Rs 11,000 was collected at that time. Thus, on behalf of the Muslim brothers, a donation of Rs. 44,111 was handed over to Govind Devagiriji Maharaj for the construction of the Shri Ram Mandir.

Speaking on this occasion, Haji Ismail said, “We tried to contribute like a squirrel [Ref.
