BJP Jayant Mandal vice president Rajesh Kumar Jha alias ‘Raju Baba’ was shot dead in Bihar’s capital Patna on Thursday (October 1) morning.
According to reports, two bike-borne unidentified miscreants opened fire at Raju Baba while he was on the morning walk near Sitaram Utsav Hall in Tej Pratap Nagar under Beur police station. The BJP leader died on the spot.
The local police have started the investigation. The team also examined the CCTV footage to identify the killers.
The killing of a BJP leader, who joined the BJP only a few days ago, in the state capital comes less than a month ahead of the state assembly elections.
