Disha Bharat’s #MyBharat 15-day online lecture series featuring country’s top intellectuals, Union Ministers, authors and orators to start today

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Union Minister Smriti Irani, Principle Economic Advisor of GOI Sanjeev Sanyal and many others will speak during the lecture series. The #MyBharat campaign will also have talks on freedom fighters, patriotic songs, mono acting on social issues, dance, poetry writing and recitation by college students too.

Disha Bharat, a NGO which works in the educational field, is organising a 15-day online lecture series starting today. The series will feature country’s top intellectuals, famous authors and well-known orators. The lecture series organised on the occasion of India’s 74th Independence Day also gives an opportunity for college students to showcase their talents through talks on freedom fighters, patriotic songs, mono acting on social issues and dance programs aimed at inculcating nationalism.
 
The lecture series by subject experts and famous personalities will be live everyday from August 1st at 6.00 PM. The programs and talks by college students will be live at 11.00 AM everyday. Both the programs will be telecast live on Disha Bharat’s Facebook page.
 
The 15-day lecture series will start with well-known orator Chakravarti Sulibele speaking on ‘First War of Indian Independence’ on August 1st at 6.00PM. The other speakers at the lecture series are orator Adarsha Gokhale, author & historian Dr Vikram Sampath, Advisor to Manipur CM and psephologist Rajat Sethi, Trustee of Disha Bharat Shri V Nagaraj, Asst Director of Dept of Animal Husbandry, GoK Dr M Jayaprakash, Director of Vibhu Academy and well-known speaker on Dharmic issues Dr VB Arathi, BJP National General Secretary and founder member of India Foundation Ram Madhav, Author, Economist, Principle Economic Advisor of GOI Sanjeev Sanyal, JNU Professor and well-known TV panelist Dr Anand Ranganathan, National Coordinator of Prajna Pravaha J Nandakumar, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, All India Sampark Vibhag Team member of RSS and expert of Israel Ravikumar Iyer, Union Minister Smriti Irani and young MP from Bengaluru South Tejasvi Surya.

Using value education as a vehicle, DISHA endeavors to guide and catalyze young minds to carry forward the rich and glorious legacy of our nation.
 
In this endeavour, Disha Bharat conducts various programs for US/PG students, online workshops for college students, faculty development programs – both online and offline, annual Swami Vivekananda Jayanthi Programs, Viveka Vikasa – Programs for Schools and PU Colleges, and many other periodic events.
 
These include One-day Personality Development Programs, Soft Skills and Life Skills Workshops, Students Development Workshops, PRERANA – A Faculty Development Program, inter-collegiate events for college students and lecturers on different topics and Viveka Vikasa, a value initiative from DISHA focussing on providing life skills and value education for the younger generation who will be the pioneers of positive change of the nation.
