Fact Check: PIB busts fake news, clarifies ?All Ministries are open?

The PIB clarified that all Ministries are open and working as per the norms of Department of Personnel and Training.

In an effort to guard against fake news being circulated on various platforms, the PIB has started a new segment on Fact-Checking & Mythbusters.
 
 
 
In a tweet by @PIBFactCheck, the Press Information Bureau busted a piece of fake news that has been doing round on social media. Reports have been circulating that the government has ordered all its Ministries to close down immediately due to COVID-19 pandemic. The centre has clarified that there is no such order and the report is fake and baseless.
 
The PIB clarified that all Ministries are open and working as per the norms of Department of Personnel and Training.
