India’s third positive case of Novel Coronavirus reported from Kerala: Patient had returned from China’s Wuhan

The third positive case of Novel Coronavirus has been reported from Kerala. Confirming the reports, the Press Information Bureau, in a statement, said that the patient has travel history from Wuhan in China.
“The patient has tested positive for Novel Coronavirus and is in isolation in the hospital. The patient is stable and is being closely monitored,” the statement added. The new case has been reported from Kasargod. The patient is under treatment at the Kanjangad District Hospital in Kasaragod, the northern district of Kerala that shares border with Karnataka.
All three cases of coronavirus in India have been reported from Kerala. The second case was reported on February 2, and has been admitted to the Government Medical College Hospital in Alappuzha. India’s first confirmed case of the novel coronavirus reported from Kerala on January 30. More than 2,000 people have been kept under observation at different hospitals, quarantine facilities and also homes in the state.
The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare had issued an advisory for the travellers returning from China as confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus reported in the country.
