Pakistan has secretly released India’s most wanted terrorist and Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Maulana Masood Azhar as a part of a grand plan to carry out terror attacks in Indian territory. The Intelligence Bureau (IB) has reportedly alerted the Union Government about the deployment of additional Pakistani armed forces along the border near Rajasthan.

According to the reports, Pakistan is planning “big action” in Sialkot-Jammu and Rajasthan sectors in response to the abrogation of Article 370.

Last week, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan had threatened “fullest possible response” to India’s moves in Jammu and Kashmir. Khan also held the global community responsible for any “catastrophic” aftermath.

JeM was behind the Pulwama terror attack in which 40 paramilitary troopers were killed. In response, India had carried out airstrikes on the JeM camps in Pakistan’s Balakot on February 26. Masood Azhar Azhar is the most wanted terrorist in India for several attacks including the Pulwama attack. He was among four persons declared as individual terrorists under a new anti-terror law passed in August.
