Nagpur: The Akhil Bharatiya Karyakarini and Pratinidhi Baithak of the Rashtra Sevika Samiti was held at the premises of Smriti Mandir, Reshimbagh on July 21. A total of 269 karyakartas from across the country participated in the meeting which concluded on July 22.
In the beginning, Pramukh Sanchalika of the Samiti Sushri Shantakka paid tribute to the departed souls who had given their best to the nation, the innocent victims of natural calamities and to the brave soldiers of the nation. She paid special tribute to Swami Satyamitranand Giriji Maharaj who passed away recently, referring to his vision of a glorious future for Bharat.
Addressing the Sevikas on the occasion Pramukh Karyavahika of the Samiti Sita Gayatri Annadanam said: “In today’s misinterpretation of pseudo-secularism and secularism, let us remember Mother Aditi in our undeclared intellectual war to emerge victorious. Quoting the ‘Dhyeya Vakya’ of the meeting, she said all the Sevikas should follow the path of Swadharma and Sevika Dharma with utmost faith (shraddha). It is with this idea of being in righteousness which would stabilise our Body, Mind and Soul. This will make us more courageous and successful. With this purpose, we are here together for collective thinking.”
She pointed out that a total of 9,452 Sevikas were trained across the country in the annual training camps. A total of 2,399 Shakhas and 958 service activities are run by the Sevikas. “Let’s introspect the last year’s activities and accordingly plan for the future with greater enthusiasm,” she added.
