Indore: “Security and service of the country are the prime duty of Indian army and every soldier follows it throughout his life. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the society to keep the morale of the soldiers high. But it is very unfortunate that some people are repeatedly demoralising the security forces by asking for evidence of their valour. It is shame,” said General (retd) GD Bakshi while addressing a gathering of people on March 17, 2019. The function, titled as Chintan Yajna, was organised by Dr Hedgewar Smarak Samiti.

General Bakshi further said a dangerous ideology is working in the country to break the nation. Despite losing four wars, Paksitan is conspiring through proxy war to capture Kashmir. About 80,000 people have lost their lives due to terrorists activities in the last 30 years. Now the people of the country should understand the value of very citizen’s life. Our previous governments only faced terrorist attack, but the surgical strike of 2016 as well as the latest one have proved that India can give a befitting reply if needed, he added.
Noted commentator Shri Sushil Doshi said that present Pak PM Imran Khan, who claims himself as a moderate and liberal has basically been an arrogant person as a sportsperson. President of Dr Hedgewar Smarak Samiti Shri Ishwardas Hinduja and many other persons were also present.
