RSS Sarsanghachalak Shri Mohan Bhagwat hoisting the National Flag in Kanpur
The Republic Day on January 26 was observed all over the country with fanfare. RSS Sarsanghachalak Shri Mohan Bhagwat hoisted the tricolour at Narayana Group of Institution campus in Kanpur while RSS Sarkaryavah Shri Bhaiyaji Joshi unfurled the National Flag in Guwahati. In Nagpur, RSS Mahanagar Sanghachalak Shri Rajesh Loya hoisted the National Flag at RSS Headquarters, Dr Hedgewar Bhavan in Mahal. There are also reports of the celebration of the Republic Day by Sangh adhikaris all over the country.

Addressing the gathering in Kanpur, Shri Mohan Bhagwat said the National Flag is a source inspiration. He said the nation cannot forget the Republic Day as on this day we got freedom after the slavery of many centuries. It is the day when everyone in the country is happy. On this day we also remember that we have to unite. He said outer diversity is an expression of our eternal unity. We are sisters and brothers irrespective of the differences of caste, wasy of worship, etc. “Our National Flag is our guide and source of inspiration,” he said.
