ABVP-led alliance winners celebrating victory in Hyderabad
Hyderabad: Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP)-led alliance, which includes OBCF-Sevalal Vidhyarthi Dal, has clean swept the University of Hyderbad’s students union elections by bagging all the six posts, including that of the president on October 6. ABVP’s Aarti Nagpal won the presidential post with a margin of over 300 votes, while the organisation’s Amit Kumar was declared as the vice-president. Dheeraj Sangoji of OBCF was elected new General Secretary and Praveen Kumar of Sevalal Vidhyarthi Dal bagged the post of joint secretary. Arvind S Kumar and Nikhil Raj of the ABVP have been elected as new cultural secretary and sports secretary, respectively.
