Dehradun: Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh workers from across Uttarakhand organised a protest march at Parade Ground. The workers associated with various organisations including Asha workers, Anganwadi workers, NHM, GMVN, KMVN, THDC, sugar mills, auto rickshaw union, 108 Ambulance, ITC, OLF, security, ordinance, tourism, transport, SIDCUL, road construction, etc joined the protest. Observing the anger of the protestors the state government called a delegation for dialogue. An eight member delegation submitted 19 demands to the Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat. The delegation said the labour laws are being violated under pressure from industrialists. On intervention of the Chief Minister, now a meeting will be called on October 23. BMS national general secretary Shri Virjesh Upadhyaya, zonal organising secretary Shri Pawan Kumar, state president Shri Rishipal Singh and other senior leaders joined the delegation and also addressed the protestors.
