Dr MM Joshi and others paying tribute to Devrishi Narada
Jaipur: “Every citizen should know and feel proud of the scientific aspect of our glorious traditions,” said senior BJP leader Dr Murli Manohar Joshi while inaugurating a statue of Devrishi Narad on September 23. He further said present journalism looks at the news as a product. That is why the people in the media do not hesitate to even tamper with the facts to package the news attractively. This is the reason that objective of journalism is no more society-oriented but the news-oriented. It is because of this trend that the news about killing, loot, rape, abuse etc makes the headlines. The news magazines like the Pathey Kan should own the responsibility of changing this trend and promote the society-oriented journalism. He said people’s welfare was the objective of Narad’s journalism. The same should be the objective of Pathey Kan. Prant Sanghachalak of RSS Dr Ramesh Agrawal and editor of Pathey Kan Shri Kanhailal Chaturvedi also spoke.
