Bhopal: “Akhil Bharatiya Grahak Panchayat aims at laying the foundation of the industries based on ethics so that there is no cheating with any consumer. When one follows ethics in the life, the question of cheating anyone does not arise at all. There should be justice with every consumer and ensuring this justice is the responsibility of the Grahak Panchayat,” said RSS Sah Sarkaryavah Shri Dattatreya Hosabale, while addressing the fourth state conference of the Grahak Panchayat on March 17.
Shri Hosabale further said the legal provisions have their own significance, but the society functions on ethical standards. If there is any deviation from ethics, the whole system gets affected.
Shri Mahesh Srivastava, vice president of Rashtriya Ekata Samiti, stressed that the consumers should not get confused because of misleading advertisements. He said the decline in morality reflects in all spheres of life. He applauded the efforts of the Grahak Panchayat in working towards creating an exploitation-free society. He also appealed to the people not to hesitate in paying tax as tax evasion leads to corruption.     n

Preserve the lifelines of Rivers

Bhopal: “Tributaries are lifeline of the rivers and we need to preserve them if we wish that our rivers continue to flow. The science has created various machines during the last 150 years, but those machines and technologies have created some problems also. Understanding the side effects of the technology and machines we should not disconnect from our own age old and time tested practices,” said RSS Sahsarkaryavah Shri Suresh Soni, while addressing the fifth Nadi Mahotsava on March 16. He recalled the work done by the late Anil Madhav Dave on the front of Narmada conservation.
Speaking on the occasion, Union Minister of Water Resources Shri Nitin Gadkari said there is no shortage of water in the country, what we need is proper utilisation of it. He also recalled the contribution of the late Anil Madhav Dave in cleaning the Narmada River. He said water, forest, land and animals are the gifts of the God to the mankind and preserving them is our responsibility.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan stressed on taking forward the work started by the late Anil Madhav Dave for river protection and water conservation in the state.
A book, Nadi Parikrama Marg, written by the late Dave, was also released on the occasion.    n
