Mumbai: “Restoring lost prosperity of the country is our National Mission. This mission should be part of every Indian’s life. It is expected that every businessman deals
keeping it in view,” said RSS Sarsanghachalak Shri Mohan Bhagwat, while delivering a lecture on the topic of “Nationalism and Ethical Practices in Business’. The lecture was jointly organised by IMC Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). IMC Chairman Dr Lalit Kanodia, BSE Director General Shri Arvind Pradhan and Chief Executive Officer Operation Shri Ashish Kumar Chauhan also shared the dais.
Shri Bhagwat further said with the growth in India’s trade and business, the entire world would witness growth. But it requires some changes. We need to increase employment and every member of the business has to act as part of a family. We need to set our own paradigms in business. Shri Bhagwat also stressed on ethics in business. “Whatever we earn should be used for betterment of the society. Even today we are at fifth position with regard to GDP and Economic Index. But when it comes to trust the country, India tops. We may not be rich in materialistic growth, but world trusts us more than any other country of the world.
“Our trade should increase employment and all our work should be the best. We have to develop a situation, wherein people from across the world should come here if they want to learn excellence,” he said. Shri Bhagwat also said India and the rest of the world have different views when it comes to industries.
“For the world, industries and agriculture are different sectors. We consider all of them inter-related. If industries prosper, agriculture will also prosper. If trade does not increase, industries will not be encouraged to grow. If trade increases, manufacturing will also grow,” he added.    *

RSS working for Casteless Society’

Meerut: Sewa Bharati celebrated 641st birth anniversary of great saint Ravidas amidst a large gathering of people. It was addressed by Shri Phool Singh, Prant Karyavah of RSS, Sant Shri Govardhan Das and Sant Shri Veer Singh Maharaj and editor of Rashtradev monthly Shri Ajay Mittal. Sant Veer Singh said Ravidas ji countered the threat of conversion of Hindus to Islam in the days of tyranny let loose by the Tughlaqs, Saiiyeds and Lodhis. He was a valiant disciple of Sant Ramanand who himself brought as many as 34,000 converted Hindus back to the Hindu fold in Ayodhya. Ramanand passed on his mantle to Ravidas, Kabir, Dhanna, Peepa, Sain and seven other disciples to fight proselytisation all over Bharat.
Sant Goverdhan Das said satguru Ravidas belongs to the entire Hindu society irrespective of caste. Shri Phool Singh said the RSS is working for a casteless society. Shri Ajay Mittal said just as his guru Swami Ramanand chanted “jaat-paant puchhe nahi koi, hari ko bhaje so hari ko hoi” (Nobody need ask the caste of someone, whosoever worships Hari, belongs to Him), Ravidas ji said “jaat-paant ka nahi adhikara, Ram bhaje so utare para” (We don”t have right to be proud of caste, he who prays Ram, gets over the worldly constraints). More than 80 brilliant students and about three dozen social workers were felicitated on the occasion.    *
