Chennai: Spectacular RSS pathsanchalan of North Tamil Nadu was held in all Vibhags on January 29. Around 4,970 swayamsevaks participated in the sanchalans. In Chennai, the 3 km long pathsanchalan began from Natesan Vidyasala, Mannivakkam. Shri Muthukumar, president of Washermen Sangh flagged off the pathsanchalan. Shri Kathiresan, Vazhga Valamudan presided over the event. RSS State Outreach Wing Secretary Shri B Prakash addressed the gathering. Narrating the development of the Sangh work in Tamil Nadu, he hit out at the critics of ‘land of Periyar’ and said Tamil Nadu is always the spiritual land and contributed to the nation ever. He appealed to devote time and contribute to the society for good. Shri Visu, multi-faceted film personality, Shri N Ramasubramanyan, Natesan Vidyasala and other Sangh adhikaris participated. A book on Shri Suryanarayana Rao, ‘Samudhaya Sirppi’ was released on the occasion in all districts of Uttar Tamil Nadu.
Puducherry Vibhag: In Cuddalore, Shri M Ravichandran Yogi Ram Pharma presided over the event along with Shri Duraidevan, Vaigai Travels and Shri Krishnamurthy Murugaiah Medicals. Shri Vivekanandan, Prant Vidyarthi Pramukh, addressed the gathering.
Kanchi Vibhag: Kanchi Vibhag pathsanchalan was held in Tiruvallore. Kanchi Jilla President Shri Ezhumalai, Vibag Secretary Shri Swaminathan, State Joint Secretary Shri V G Jagadeesan addressed the gathering and other Sangh adhikaris were present. RSS Senior swayamsevak Shri Narasiman flagged off the dwaj and Shri Vaarahi Ganesan paid floral tributes to dwaj.
Salem Vibhag: Salem Vibhag pathsanchalan was held in Krishnagiri. Shri Gunasekaran, ISRO General Manager, presided over the function. Shri PM Ravikumar, state organiser addressed the gathering. He hit out the opponents who are trying the divide the Hindu society and threw light on how Tamil Nadu had been a nationalist state. Around 986 swayamsevaks participated.  
Erode Vibhag: Erode Vibhag pathsanchalan was held in Gobichettipalayam.
Vellore Vibhag: Vellore Vibhag pathsanchaan was held at Thiruvannamalai. Vibhag Secretary Shri Nagarajan flagged off the march. Shri Kumaraswamy, State President addressed the gathering. Around 500 swayamsevaks participated.           *

 

 Run 4 BharatMata

Hyderabad: The workers of Komaram Bheem IT Milan organised a “Run 4 BharatMata” on January 28 to spread the idea of National Unity and consciousness by taking care of oneself. Around 300 people enthusiastically participated in the 5 km run from Neredmet X Roads at around 6.30 am. The participants commenced the run after Bharat Mata pujan with the energetic slogans of “Bharat Mata ki Jai” and “Vande Mataram”. MLC Shri Ramachandra Rao Garu was the chief guest. He spoke about Swachch Bharat as well as Beti Bachao and Beti Padhao.  *
