Intellectual Terrorism unacceptable
New Delhi: Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) while condemning the anti-India statements by some Left intellectuals like Prof Nivedita Menon, termed them as intellectuals terrorism and said the dream of the Leftist of breaking the nation would never be materialised as the youth of the country are ready to counter any threat. Reacting to the anti-national comments made by Prof Menon recently the ABVP said: “What kind of
intellectualism is this which insults the brave soldiers fighting for the nation at borders. Professors are enjoying life on Government money but yet critising the soldiers who are protecting our borders. The ABVP will continue to fight against such elements through democratic means.”
It is to be noted that while speaking at a seminar at Jainarayan Vyas University of Jodhpur on February 2, Prof Menon of JNU raised questions over the Map of India and also delivered objectionable speech on Kashmir while
insulting the Indian soldiers. It is not for the first time that Menon delivered such an anti-India speech. “It is because of the anti-India mindset of these Left Professors at the JNU that a section of the students have developed an anti-India feeling. These anti-India Leftists continue to hatch conspiracies against India. These intellectual terrorists get foreign funding to create disturbance in India,” ABVP said in a statement issued on February 3.
