Amid frenzied CPM workers unleash violence on RSS-BJP workers in Kerala, a massive protest was staged outside AKG Bhavan in Delhi by the BJP activists

Ganesh Krishnan R
As the CPM violence against RSS-BJP workers escalates in Kerala, a delegation of BJP leaders including Union Ministers Nitin Gadkari, Nirmala Sitharaman, Rajiv Pratap Rudi and JP Nadda along with BJP state president Kummanam Rajasekharan visited the Honourable President Shri Pranab Mukherjee and submitted a memorandum. Smt Meenakshi Lekhi MP and Shri MJ Akbar MP were also part of the team.
Shri Kummanam Rajasekharan told Organiser that the delegation has requested the president to intervene in the prevailing lawless situation in the state and take stringent action to contain the violence. “CPM is unleashing a brutal attack against the RSS-BJP workers and trying to create a total anarchy in the state,” he alleged. In the attacks, two BJP workers were murdered and more than a hundred workers have been hospitalised, Shri Kummanam added.
Speaking to the press, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari who led the delegation said, “We have given the President details of these cases, including photographs. Our worker Pramod was killed. Houses of more than 100 workers have been vandalised. The situation is not good. He has assured us that he will take appropriate action.” He criticised the Congress which keeps mum on the CPM atrocities against its political opponents.
Against the backdrop of the recent spate of CPM attacks, RSS Sah Prachar Pramukh Shri J Nandakumar said that the CPM General Secretary Sitaram Yechuri has been trying to downplay the extent and unilateral nature of the violence in Kerala. Shri Nandakumar challenged Yetchuri to allow an all-party delegation accompanied by the media representatives to visit Pinarayi Village, home to the Party’s Chief Minister designate Vijayan, where attacks occurred on a large scale. Meanwhile, in a massive protest against the CPM atrocities, thousands of BJP workers have staged a march outside AKG Bhavan, CPM Central Committee Office, in Delhi. The protesters shouted slogans against the CPM’s violent politics and urged Pinarayi Vijayan to withdraw from slaughtering of BJP workers in Kerala. Around six hundred demonstrators were detained by the police.

All Party Delegation should visit Kannur

RSS Akhil Bharatiya Sah Prachar Pramukh Shri J Nandakumar challenged the CPI(M) Supremo Sitaram Yechury to have an all party delegation visit to the Communist hot bed Pinarayi in Kannur to see the Marxist atrocities and let the nation know the truth. “Since the exit polls predicted the formation of a CPM led government in Kerala, the State witnessed large scale violence against rival parties of the CPM. People including women have been attacked, houses burnt, vehicles destroyed. In Pinarayi Panchayat of the next Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan alone, 48 houses have been attacked by CPM activists till now. Our workers including women and those of the Revolutionary Marxist Party at Onjiyam are being hunted like animals with the State Police looking the other way,” he said in the press statement.

Talking to the media, Delhi BJP president Satish Upadhyay  said, “In the last few weeks of the election campaign in Kerala, there were several attacks on RSS and BJP workers. And, after the CPM’s victory, it has become worse”.
The CPM led LDF has won the state Assembly Elections held on May 16. Since then, the state has been witnessing a series of violence against rival parties of the CPM.
