(Organiser, 6.12.2015); Apropos of the article titled ‘A Hindu’s Views on Islam and Muslims – II’ by Dr Pramod Pathak in Organiser. The writer has given a true picture of Islam and the Muslims along with references. It is perfectly correct that the Hindus continue to suffer even today because of their tolerant behaviour. At the end  of the article Dr Pathak says that a Hindu who calls other person as an untouchable, a Christian who calls other person as a heathen, and a Muslim who calls other person as a kafir, all are committing sin against the God and humanity. But I feel tagging the Hindus, with Muslims and Christians is absolutely wrong and not acceptable as Hindus are very tolerant by nature. If a Hindu considers a Muslim as untouchable, it is because Muslims eat beef and have a long history of inflicting cruelties on the Hindus. But when a Muslim calls a Hindu kafir, it is full of hatred towards the Hindus. This hatred policy towards the Hindus is still going on.

Reap What  You Sow

(Organiser 10.1.2016); I was disappointed to read the article  titled  ‘Reap What You Sow’ by Manoj Sharma  in Organiser. The writer has sided with the jihadis in the current controversy between the Muslims and the  Christians. Secondly our attitude towards the  Christians  should be friendly. We should follow  Swami Vivekananda and Paramahansa Yogananda in this respect. I am myself  a Yogi and Sri Krishan’s bhakta .Still I go to the Church on Sundays.

Digital  Villages

(Organiser, 18.10.15); This is refers to the article ‘Digital  Villages’ by JP Dubey in Organiser. Infact, the commitment  which is made by Sateya Nadela, CEO Microsoft to PM Shri Narendera Modi is the benchmark for other NRIs in shaping the bright future of Bharat as he is planning to provide the internet facility to  five lakh villages. Now net surfing has become the essential part of our day-to-day life. We cannot survive without net. It seems that a man who lives in city can be remain hungry for a day but cannot stay fit without an internet. So, the question arises that how much time will be required to finish this task. Once the infrastructure   is completed, the day is not far off when each villager   will have tremendous facility just at a single click of a button.
BALBIR SINGH, Kurukshetra
