My name is Hong and I am from Beijing. I have been practicing yog since 1999. But incorrect practicing has brought me many hurts at my back and knees. It is only after knowing Iyengar Yog that all my problems got solved. Three years since then, I have turned myself a firm believer of this system of practicing. Many people joke that I am a huge fan of Iyengar Yog. In September 2013, I went to Pune and stayed at the Iyengar Center for a month. It was an unforgettable trip of yog. Guruji himself gave us Chinese students great attention and care. I miss him so much after he was gone last year. Practicing everyday has become my daily routine and a must since Pune. Now, I am trying my best to be a practitioner of yog and at the same time a person who helps spread yog, especially Iyengar yog to my countrymen, because I deeply believe that yog can bring us healthy body and soul, more balanced life and better relationships among people. With a heart of yog, I know I have a long yog road to go till the last breath of this life of mine. NAMASTE!
