Intro: Uttar Pradesh government has failed to fulfill the aspirations of the people who had voted it to power in absolute majority three years back.

Union Minister of State for Textile Santosh Gangwar said the Land Acquisition Bill is not anti-farmer and efforts have been made to make it more farmers friendly than ever before. He said the endeavour is to extend maximum benefits to the farmers. He was talking to Organiser at Jadodajatta Village in Deoband on March 10. He categorically said that the BJP government is farmer friendly and the farmers’ interest would not be compromised at any cost. “Bright future of the country is the ultimate goal of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and all our efforts have been designed to achieve that goal. The beginning has been encouraging and in coming days the country will see the good results of these policies,” he said.
He said Shri Modi is the leader who devotes his maximum time to the Parliament. “He has deep interest in the parliamentary matters. He keeps a close watch on the parliamentary proceedings even if he is not in the Parliament. He is going to create a record of devoting maximum time to the Parliament,” Gangwar said.
He said after agriculture, handcraft is a big sector, which is being strengthened by the Government. “We are taking every possible step to promote the export of handicrafts. All hurdles blocking the way are being removed. Prime Minister also wants the export of handicrafts must strengthen and the willpower of the people involved in this sector should increase,” he added.
He assured to pay attention to the woodcarving industry of Saharanpur on top priority. “We want that the woodcarving industry witnesses increase in the export. We will speak to the exporters and will provide them necessary facilities. We have also sought suggestions from Saharanpur MP Raghav Lakhanpal in this regard,” he said. He further said that the handicraft export has registered 30.10 per cent increase as compared to the last year’s 17.55 per cent increase. During the year 2014-15 it is expected to achieve the target of Rs 27,000 crore.
Shri Gangwar was also accompanied by the BJP MP from Mahasamund, Shri Chandulal Sahu who had defeated the Congress leader, Ajit Jogi and famous entrepreneur Mahashaya Dharmapal of MDH company. Shri Gangwar however expressed unhappiness over the deteriorating law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh. He said the State government has failed to fulfill the aspirations of the people they had voted it to power in absolute majority three years back. He said the people are not safe even inside the courts.The broad day light killings in Muzaffarnagar and Moradabad courts put a question mark over the security of advocates, judges and other people coming to the courts. Hardly any day passes without any incident of crime.
The broad day light robbery in Tanishq showroom in Saharanpur on February 15 also shocked the people. The dacoits entered into the showroom in police uniform. Similarly, on February 24 four armed criminals attacked the collection centre of M/S Accurate Foods and Beverage Pvt Ltd in Budhana and looted six lakh rupees in broad day light.
