Readers’ Forum : Government deviating from its mission

This refers to the news item in Deccan Herald dated 29.9.2014, page no. 9 in which it is mentioned that the Central government has announced Rs. 500.00 crore packet for cow protection under the scheme ‘Rashtriya Gokul Mission’ wherein Gokulgram will be set-up throughout the country, where Indian breed of cows will be fostered and developed. The news item also stated that this unit would be self sustaining and would generate economic resources by utilising A2 Milk, Organic Manure, Vermi Composite, Distillation of cow urine and its application. This was a matter of rejoice for us .But to our dismay after going through Yojana (issue dated Sep. 2014) monthly journal published by Government of India we learnt that under the scheme the cows after they pass the milk producing phase , would be utilised for meat purpose, the same was not mentioned in the news item. I wish to bring to the notice of the government that although cows, including bull/ ox after they stop providing milk and are incapable of working in the agriculture fields or as drought animal, the dung and the cow urine they produce throughout their life are valuable and keep our organic farming alive, upon which our country’s agriculture scenario is running and upon which our country’s economy is built since ages.

(Organiser, 30.11.2014 ); Refer to ‘Bureau Report’, Organiser, under the heading ‘Migrants to get citizenship’, that “Union Ministry of the Home Affairs has reduced minimum stay period of migrants from Pakistan and Afghanistan from 7 years to 2.6 years.”This is not at all sufficient. Firstly the term used should have been Hindu and Sikh refugees and not migrants. There could be Muslim refugees also who should not be accepted. Secondly, Hindu and Buddhist refugees from Bangladesh also should have been included. Thirdly, it is no gift, but all these refugees have a legitimate right to settle in truncated India, as Pakistan (including Bangladesh ) was created specially as homeland for the Indian Muslims, with no provision for the Hindus. Article 5 and 6 of the Constitution of India is unjust as it prevents these refugees from coming to India. On the other hand , Muslim now living in India had voted for Muslim League headed by Jinnah to create Pakistan and thus have no claim to be citizen of truncated India.

Restoring the Crown

(Organiser,23.11.2014);This is with reference to the article titled ‘Restoring the Crown’ in Organiser. Presently BJP is in full swing and has already come to power in Maharashtra and Harayana. Not only that if any time elections are held in Delhi , BJP is going to win hands down with 70 plus seats. After going through the article I feel that it is only a matter of time that BJP is going to be announced as winner both in Delhi and J&K. The ruling party NC and Congress have done nothing for economic development or progress of the Valley, but literally worked as agents of Pakistan and hardcore terrorist and destroyed the Valley in the worst possible way. But soon situation will improve.
