Youth should decide their role—Dattatreya Hosabale?
“Just change in political power is not enough. The youth are the medium of change and they have to decide their role in present context. They have to decide whether they want to live in a super power India or in a country known for corruption, dirt or many other such ills,” said RSS Sahsar-karyavah Shri Dattatreya Hosabale, while addressing a gathering of college students in a two camp organised by RSS Kota Vibhag.
Shri Hosabale said if the education lacks sanskar it leads to corruption and many other ills. He said at the time when the world is looking at Bharat for guidance, we should prepare ourselves for assuming that role. It was first of its kind experiment by RSS in the city known all over the country as an education hub where more than one lakh students come every year for specialised coaching. More than 600 students attended the camp. About 150 of them attended the RSS function for the first time. Every student paid Rs 200 as camp fee and interesting thing is that the fee was collected only in a single day. RSS Kshetra Pracharak Pramukh Shrivardhanji, Prant Pracharak Shri Gajendra Singh and Prant Bauddhik Pramukh Shri Vishwajeet were also present on the occasion.
According to Vibhag Pracharak Shri Murlidhar, the prime objective of the camp was to bring new youth in the Sangh fold and mould them to social cause. Vice Chancellor of Pacific University, Udaipur, and Chittor Prant Sanghachalak Prof. Bhagwati Prakash Sharma inaugurated the camp on November 24. Shri Nandlal ‘Pawan’, retired Superintendent of Police, presided over the inaugural ceremony.

Eknathji science exhibition in Itanagar?
Vivekananda Kendriya Vidyalaya Itanagar on November 19 organised Eknathji Vigyan Pradarshani 2014 to commemorate the birth centenary of the late Eknath Ranade. Over 700 students participated in drawing and creative science model project competitions as part of the celebration. Eknathji was senior Sangh Pracharak and also founding president of Vivekananda Kendra.
Shri Subash Chandra Dikshit, Principal of Vivekananda Kendriya Vidyalaya, said Eknathji’s vision was to reach Arunachal Pradesh through education and develop the State. In the beginning seven schools were established in 1977 and now the number of schools has grown to 33. The science exhibition was conducted with a motive to create awareness among the students about scientific temperament and to evaluate the models. A year-long programme has been scheduled for the students to commemorate the birth centenary of Eknathji which include the ‘Eknath Darshan’ depicting the life sketch of Eknathji, ‘Eknath Darpan’ which is a monthly programme where students will express their ideas through wallpaper magazines and ‘Eknath Vyakhyan Mala’ where students and teachers will have discussions every week.

Balasaheb Deshpande birth centenary celebration in Andamans
Kalyan Ashram Middle Andaman district unit organised a function at District Auditorium Rangat on November 15 to observe birth centenary of Vanyogi Balasaheb Deshpande. Shri Kanda Swami, District president, gave brief account of the activities conducted in Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Kalyan Ashram joint organising secretary Shri Atul Jog said Balasaheb Deshpandeji worked tirelessly in janjati (tribal) area for 47 long years. Respect every member of Hindu society equally —Bhaiyaji Joshi?
“We need to think above the caste factor and our conduct as a Hindu should be according to our values. Every member of the Hindu society should be equally respected. This will resolve many problems. Law has its limitations and it cannot eradicate the problem fully. Individually everyone has to think and work for a change to achieve social Harmony,” said RSS Sarkaryavah Shri Bhaiyaji Joshi, while speaking at Social Harmony meet in Jammu on November 23. Various socio-religious leaders and activists attended the meet and discussed the speedy mechanisms and dimensions to achieve social harmony. Prant Pracharak Shri Ramesh Pappa and other senior functionaries were also present on the occasion.
Anganwadi workers seek govt employee status?
About 25,000 Aganwadi workers from various parts of the country, under the banner of Akhil Bharatiya Anganwadi Karmachari Mahasangh (ABAKM), an affiliate of Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, staged a protest at Jantar Mantar in Delhi on November 24. Demanding immediate declaration of government employee status and wages accordingly, including gratuity, pension, promotion, protection against threats and harassment by supervisors, departmental officials and local Panchayat officials the workers urged the Government to act swiftly on their demands.
Addressing the protestors BMS president Baijnath Rai said the Anganwadi workers have been protecting the children and women from malnutrition for the last 39 years but they themselves have become the victim of malnutrition. It seems the government is itself conspiring to keep these workers below poverty line as they are still paid Rs 1,500 to helpers and Rs 3,000 to Anganwadi workers. BMS general secretary Shri Vijesh Upadhyaya alleged that the Government of India, in connivance of the corporate lobby, is contemplating to privatise the Anganwadi centres or hand them over to NGOs.
Some MPs including SS Ahluwalia, Dr SN Jatiya, Janardhan Sigriwal, Ramesh Bidhuri, Jagdambika Pal, Abhishek Singh also addressed the workers. Later a delegation led by ABAKM general secretary Jayanti Duggal, presented a memorandum to Union Minister of Child and Women Development Maneka Gandhi. Another memorandum was presented to Union Minister of State for Labour Bandaru Dattatreya by ABAKM president Kumari Saudamani Das.

Attack on RSS workers in Chennai and Thalassery
RSS Triplicane Bhag Karyavah Rajkumar was brutally attacked by anti-national elements with iron rods and lethal weapons in Chennai on November 26. He was immediately taken to a Government Hospital with serious injuries on the head and at the back. Another worker, MK Shinoj suffered multiple stab injuries in an attack by alleged Communist Party of India (Marxist) [CPI(M)] workers at Thalassery late night on November 23. Having suffered the stab injuries in his arms and legs, he was admitted to the General Hospital at Thalassery. (VSK Channai)??
SJM National Convention to be held in Bhubaneswar
The national convention of Swadeshi Jagaran Manch (SJM) will be held at KIIT University, Bhubaneswar from December 26 to 28.
