Terming the mindset of Congress Government in Karnataka as anti-Hindu, upset Hindu outfit, in order to seek justice has submitted a memorandum to Governor Vajubhai Rudabhai Vala and urged him to intervene in the matter.
The members of Karnataka unit of Hindu Jagarana Vedike (HJV) held a huge protest in the busy State Bank of Mysore junction on Kempegowda Road on September 13 and shouted slogans against the Congress Government before proceeding towards Raj Bhavan to meet the Governor.

Karnataka

HJV alleged that Congress Government led by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is protecting Muslim fundamentalists and harassing innocent Hindu people.
It can be recalled that, there was a severe attack on Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s (RSS) swayamsevak and Jalahalli Nagar Ghosh Pramukh, Phaneendra (40) while he was on the way to attend a RSS shaka (regular gathering of RSS activists) near Jalahalli, Bengaluru on August 14. Condemning the attack, RSS and other outfits held a massive protest march on the same day, demanding stringent action against group of miscreants who were involved in the crime.
According to RSS Bengaluru City, Secretary (Mahanagar Karyavah) KS Sridhar attacks on RSS activists are on rise since Congress Government came to power in Karnataka.
“Few years ago, Sangh swayamsevak Lakshmi Narasimhaiah (60) was attacked when he was walking towards a play ground to attend Shaka. However, he was lucky to survive. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) activist Chandra was attacked by a group on August 16 this year,” said Sridhar.
Nagendra Prasad, Senior office bearer of HJV, Karnataka said that, “We have information that attackers belong to terrorist outfits like Karnataka Forum for Dignity (KFD) and The Popular Front of India (PFI), which is supported by Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI). To please Muslim Community, Government has put a pressure on police department to go soft on miscreants.”
“There should be a limit for everything. If the attitude of Government does not change, we will intensify our agitation and create awareness among public to oust the Government. We do not need a Government which ill-treats Hindu community,” said Prasad.
In its memorandum HJV has highlighted the double standards of Congress Government by highlighting Government's hatred towards Hindu community and implementing generous policies to appease Muslims and Christians in the state.
Hindu Jagarana Vedike urges the Governor of Karnataka to take action against the Congress Government in the state for not keeping in view of anti-Hindu brutalities.
