Intro: The outcome of the Assembly elections in UP will act as the evidence for the popularity of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi among people of the state. ?

Uttar Pradesh is heading to hold Assembly elections for September 13 on 11 seats. Out of which 4 seats of Thakurdwara, Bijnor, Saharanpur and Noida are in Western UP. In 2012, Kunwar Sarvesh Kumar Singh, Kunwar Bhartendra Singh, Raghav Lakhanpal Sharma and Dr Mahesh Sharma won these seats, respectively and got nominated as
MP in Lok Sabha Elections. Due to which by-polls have announced on these seats also.

Uttar Pradesh?

It is a matter of prestige for BJP to win the by-polls on these 4 seats. Samajwadi Party (SP) supremo has put in his full muscle power to prevail the battle. SP has outlined the key issues like scarcity of electricity and pathetic condition of Law and order in the state. Absence of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has also worried SP during the pre-election campaigns. But, aloofness of Congress in these elections has surely put Mulayam’s feet up.
BJP has nominated Rajpal Singh Chauhan from Thakurdwara, Hemendrapal Singh from Bijnor, and Rajeev Gumber from Saharanpur and Vimala Batham from Noida to contest in this election.
The liability to rise the sun in favour of BJP in these by-polls have been given to Union Minister Kalraj Mishra; MP from Gorakhpur, Yogi Adityanath and BJP State President, Dr Laxmikant Bajpai. State BJP General Secretary, Sunil Bansal has given the responsibility to guide the party workers. The outcome of the Assembly elections in UP will act as the evidence for the popularity of the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi among people of the state.
