The much talked alliance of political enemies, Nitish Kumar and Lalu Prasad Yadav, after 23 years had failed to live up to their own expectations when only a few hundred people turned up to witness the grand alliance in this of politics, barely 35 kms from the state capital, Patna, Hajipur on August 11.
