Analysis : Israel and Gaza

Intro: Israel has been showing all possible restraint but if its civilians are in peril then Dharma dictates it has the right to defend itself.

The demand of a number of non-Non Democratic Alliance MPs in the Parliament that India should denounce Israel for its actions in Gaza is unreasonable, unwarranted and is not in the interest of India.
Hamas -The Palestinian Islamist faction sprung up as a terrorist organisation in Gaza, publicly and proudly announced its determination to destroy Israel and throw out the Jews out of Israel and bring that land under Palestinian dominion. The position of Hamas vis-a-vs Israel is exactly like that of various secessionist jihadi outfits in Jammu and Kashmir in relation to India. To check jihadi terrorist actions India has divisions of its armed forces to control the secessionists. And has the Armed Forces Special Powers act to deal with the inhuman jihadi activities in Kashmir.
Furthermore while every year the Organisation of Islamic Countries (OIC) denounces India for suppressing human rights of the Kashmiris by armed forces, despite decades- long support of India for the Palestinians. Israel on the other hand has always been a very strong and sincere friend of India, and has helped in the development of our defence sector.
It is strange that the BJP unit in J&K has joined the anti-Indian secessionists in their denunciation of Israel. No amount of appeasement will get the sworn enemies of India to support India’s integrity and sovereignty. The Modi government should firmly reject the demands of the minority’s vote -seeking parties to denounce Israel. They need to understand that Hamas is using civilians as human shield and their homes for launching missiles to evoke sympathy from other nations to come in its support. This deception should not mislead anybody into believing that they are a fighting a just war. It has broken away from the PLO which has made some sort of peace with Israel; has turned civilian homes, hospitals and educational institutions into missile launching sites and armouries in Gaza. From these apparently civilian buildings it has fired over 18000 missiles into populated towns and even Dimona-the nuclear facility in Israel.
But since Israel has an iron shield over its air space, (an electromagnetic shield) all these missiles are being destroyed in the air itself but Israel has to have severe restrictive measures for normal work to go on. In sheer self defence Israel is compelled to target those buildings in Gaza which are used for launching missiles. Obviously the civilians living and working in those buildings will be hurt and killed, because this is a destruction which is deliberately invited by the Hamas in order to get worldwide sympathy and to get Israel accused of the wanton destruction of the civilians.
Hamas constructed a network of tunnels into Israel to sneak terrorists and tunnels into Egypt to smuggle war material into Gaza. They once boasted that (women’s) wombs will be used as bombs, meaning that Hamans/ Hizbullah mothers would produce suicide bombers. Before condemning is real, it is this ideology of the terror outfit that needs to be condemned by the world.
The NDA government should be complimented for resolutely refusing to take sides in the conflict between Israel and the Hamas which is running a government parallel to that of the Palestinian Authority in Gaza. Hamas is a non-state terrorist outfit which has taken over Gaza just as ISIL is taking over territories in the Middle East. We should not go out of the way to embarrass and discomfit our staunch allies like Israel. Secularism in India has come to mean dancing to the likes of a particular community and their kin elsewhere.

American Hindus support Israel against HAMAS

A rally was organised by American Hindus in support of Israel agains Hamas on July 21 in Princeton, New Jersy.
At the rally Hindu Human Rights activist Satya Dosapati delivered speech and said “My name is Satya Dosapati, I represent Hindu Human Rights Watch and host of other organisations including Human Rights Coalition against Radical Islam which we founded with representatives from different religions, Hindus, Jewish, Christians, Sikhs and moderate Muslims.
We have held several events in New York area together with Jewish community in New York. I appreciate Lawrencville Synagogue members and Michael Feldstein inviting us to speak at this event.
Hindus and Jews have a common bond.
We are the oldest civilisations and we are throughout history targeted and persecuted. However, we have not chosen others as targets. I am proud to say that one of the first things Israel Parliament did when Israel was formed is to acknowledge that Hindus and India are the only people and country that never persecuted Jewish people. It is unfortunate that at this day and age we have people abiding to some book and target others based on religion. World need to come together and stop this madness. I was watching news and heard that 30,000 tons of concrete meant to be used for schools, hospitals was used to build tunnels by Hamas.
On one side you see a country that is doing best to protect its people, doing what is needed for their people to thrive, on the other hand you see people spending energy destroying others as well as their own people. It is sad to see the images of deaths but Israel has a right to defend itself. What if the rockets made it to people of Israel?
Should they allow this to continue? World leaders need to come together and bring this issue to a resolution. I sincerely pray and hope that Jewish people and Israel not only come out of this current situation, but for millennia and ages to thrive and prosper.”

The UN Relief and Work Agency (UNRWA) has been sheltering and feeding tens of thousands of Palestinians since 1967. India is one of the countries which are also contributing to the expense of the UNRWA. In the entire history of mankind, there never was a time and place when so many people were so long held to be refugees and fed at the cost of the rest of the world. This is in contrast to 400,00 Hindu Pundits expelled from Kashmir by jihadi Muslim terrorists living in camps in Jammu without care by the UN or even by the Government of India for 25 years.
Obviously, in India politics has been Muslim -centric all the while, save to some extent, the BJP. But it is surprising that the J&K unit of the BJP is demonstrating against Israel notwithstanding the humiliating fact of four lakh Hindu pundits staying and suffering as refugees in their own country.
Considering the world opinion on Gaza crisis, Indian government should for now keep quiet and allow the problem to be sorted out between Israel and Hamas.
