Indian intelligence agencies have warned that the global Islamic terrorist outfit Al-Qaeda is making inroads into India and is planning a ‘final jihad’ against India named Ghazwa-e-Hind.
Ghazwa-e-Hind refers to an indoctrinated view of a final war in which India will be conquered by a jihadi army-a term spreading speedily in jihadi circles and on the web. Soldiers fighting this holy war will get a guaranteed place in heaven is being indoctrinated to the new recruits.
Al-Qaeda plans to recruit Islamic jihadis from tribal areas of Pakistan and is looking at Indian Muslims too. Ghazwa-e-Hind refers to Islamic terrorists’ dream of a war against India, which will lead to Islamisation of India.
Earlier Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) leader Wali ur Rehman, who was killed in a drone attack had pledged to send fighters to Kashmir and wage war for the implementation of Sharia rule in India. Recently, a Taliban flag was also discovered at Srinagar.
Al Qaeda’s propaganda wing Al Sahab released a video recently, titled; “Why is there no storm in your ocean?” The video has been asking Muslim youngsters from Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Delhi, Gujarat and South India to join the global jihad. Indian police recently tracked Indian Muslims from Maharashtra who had disappeared only to join the ISIS in Iraq. It is being said, organisations like Al Qaeda and Islamic state of Iraq and the Levant (ISIS) are looking to recruit people from India directly.
Army reports say that in last two months infiltration attempts have increased and that, terrorists are being supplied by Pakistan enabling them to be in regular touch with their ISI handlers.
According to intelligence report, about 800 Pakistan trained terrorists may try to infiltrate into Jammu & Kashmir. The ceasefire violations along Line of control have already increased and, withdrawal of US forces from Afghanistan is also enabling the Taliban and other Islamic terror group to target India afresh.
